The same can be said for the Darth Maul game we’ll never get to play. While it’s neat to see this unseen footage of a game that will never be, it definitely hurts because it looks fun. You can also see the Uncharted inspiration all over it, too, which isn’t surprising given that Uncharted 2 director Amy Hennig was attached to the game at one point. The game was to be a spectacular action adventure game (a bit like Uncharted in the Star Wars universe) and was most likely created with PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in mind. It begins with a much more detailed Coruscant marketplace before Boba Fett gives chase, and it’s during this chase sequence we see a much-less detailed exterior of a Coruscant building. Its worth recalling that Star Wars 1313 was announced in June 2012, and the first gameplay footage made a big impression, as did the trailer released a few months later. Respawn Entertainment recently announced that it's working on three new Star Wars games, including a sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, while the release of the long-awaited LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagais right around the corner on April 5.This time, the footage features Boba Fett chasing after some people on the advanced Jedi headquarters city of Coruscant, and like previous 1313 footage that’s leaked online, it’s clearly a work-in-progress, or rather, a snapshot of what was once a work-in-progress. While fans may still be disappointed that Star Wars 1313 will never see the light of day, there are plenty of other upcoming games set in the galaxy far, far away to look forward to. You can actually check out some prototype Boba Fett gameplay on YouTube which was leaked earlier today. The game got canceled early in development when Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012 and only early prototype builds ever existed. The narrative was intended to revolve around Boba Fett in his early adulthood as he's learning the trade secrets of bounty hunting amongst the seedy underworld of Coruscant. Many of you will know of Star Wars 1313, the Star Wars game focusing on the Coruscant underworld and Boba Fett. Little was known about the plot of 1313 but the developer did confirm that it would be embracing a darker, grittier tone in comparison to the rest of the Star Wars universe.

Related: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's Biggest Failure Is the Illusion of Choice As for as functionality goes, I dont think this demo really sold me, and I love Star Wars, Im a big jedi knight series fan and rogue squadron, but I dont want to give credit to games that dont deserve it, and if this is all were gonna get of 1313, Im not exactly impressed for it as a game, as mini movie, awesome though. Neither Disney nor Lucasfilm had attached a launch window to Star Wars 1313. Based on the Boba Fett gameplay and the original trailer, many fans believe that the game was in development for some time and would have been nearing an official release date. Following an impressive demo shown off at E3 2012, Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm, and subsequently the game's developer LucasArts, resulted in the project's termination. Star Wars 1313 has become notorious for its sudden cancelation. The recently unveiled prototype is the first time gamers will be able to see how Boba Fett would have appeared and played in the game. Previous promotional material for the game focused on two unnamed smugglers engaging in a high-stakes blaster fight after a gang of thieves attempts to steal their cargo.
While the game's first trailer showed off plenty of cover-based shooting and scripted set-piece moments, Boba Fett's chase will undoubtedly look familiar to anyone that's played through any of Nathan Drake's explosive adventures. This newly discovered footage confirms that Star Wars 1313 would have played similarly to Naughty Dog's Uncharted series.
